Join us for "Temple Hold ‘Em":
Will Gen-X Deal Our Temples A Full House?
This engaging program with Rabbi Daniel Friedlander will include the following:
♦ How can we convince young Jews to
become lifelong temple members?
♦ How can we make their initial contact
and ongoing interaction welcoming and
engaging?
♦ How can we ensure that their youth and
vibrancy enhance all aspects of temple
life?
♦ How we can best nurture Gen-X and en-
courage their development as leaders?
As we look around our temples, who is missing? Many Jews in their 20’s and 30’s
are not joining temples, not attending Shabbat services, and are not comfortable participating in temple life. The dynamic and diverse Gen-X Jews are the guarantors of the future of Reform Judaism and our temples. Finding ways to embrace and involve them is the challenge we share. Rabbi Freelander will share his perspective and ideas about filling our houses of worship from generation to generation.
